GIFT OF POWER PATCHES:

All staff and students of each member school, as well as individual members, are required to wear the GP Patch. The location of the patch on the uniform is up to the discretion of the member school. For example, many students wear the patch on their pant leg. In addition, many students order extra patches and wear them on their street clothing (GM Hebler wears extra patches on his jackets).

Note: Individual members must order at least 1 patch with his/her membership application.

GIFT OF POWER CERTIFICATES OF RANK: (see Certificates page)

A primary purpose of the Gift of Power is to make legitimate rank with a provable lineage available to the instructors and students of our member schools.

All staff and students of each member school are required to use GP Certificates of Rank. This may be in addition to or instead of any other certificate of rank presently in use by the school.

CERTIFICATION OF RANK (YELLOW THROUGH BROWN BELT): (see Certificates page)

Each certificate is custom made for the individual student. Each certificate shall be numbered and the appropriate information such as name of instructor and address of the school, student’s name, rank awarded and date of promotion shall be added to the Gift of Power International Registry of Rank as a permanent record and proof of that student’s legitimate rank.

CERTIFICATION OF RANK (CHIEF INSTRUCTOR):

When a new school is accepted for membership, the Chief Instructor/owner of that school MAY apply for a GP Certificate of Rank AT THE RANK THAT HE/SHE PRESENTLY HOLDS.

It is our intention with this action to recognize the validity of their present rank and to show respect to the legitimacy of the instructor and organization that awarded that rank.

The price of this certificate is the same price as charged for our regular Black Belt promotion certificates.

CERTIFICATION OF RANK (BLACK BELT):

Just like certifications for rank Yellow through Brown Belt, Black Belt Certificates of rank are beautiful works of art and custom made for the individual student. Each certificate shall be numbered and the appropriate information such as name of the instructor and name and address of the school, student’s name, the rank awarded and date of promotion, etc shall be added to the Gift of Power International Registry of Rank as a permanent record and proof of that student’s legitimate rank.
